The Construction Safety Institute, Inc (CSI) was founded in 1992 by one of the most recognized Safety Professionals in the Construction Industry for Cal/OSHA safety compliance, training, consulting and other valuable related services.   As the premier provider of Cal/OSHA compliance services, CSI has helped thousands of companies with their safety and compliance needs. Documentation

Cal/OSHA requires that companies have written safety programs. In addition to an IIPP, all of the programs that pertain to a company’s industry are also required. At CSI we will develop your Written Safety Programs exclusively for your company, your industry and for your specific locations. Plans will be kept current with the Cal/OSHA code for as long as you are on our Monthly Safety Services plan. All programs will be implemented while providing all necessary training to your staff.

Cal/OSHA requires that companies conduct facility or job-site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe practices. You are required to maintain records of these inspections. As a CSI client, you will receive weekly, bi-weekly or monthly comprehensive inspection reports by an experienced and qualified safety inspector.

Safety Training

Cal/OSHA requires that every company in the state of California provide their employees with safety orientation, specific certifications, ongoing refresher classes and other necessary training classes as required by Cal/OSHA, Title 8 Regulations. As an ongoing monthly client, you will receive these mandatory services from a qualified and experienced Safety Professional and/or Trainer. On-site training services are available throughout the State of California along with 6 other Western States.  All materials in English and or Spanish are provided as requested for each training course.

Defense

Cal/OSHA Fines & Citations *

When Cal/OSHA fines and citations are involved, we are staffed with some of the most experienced safety professionals in the industry.  Our Compliance Team is led by someone with over 17 years in the Construction Industry and has acquired his Doctorate Degree in Law, specializing in OSHA Compliance.  The Compliance Team also is staffed and contracts with other Attorney’s, Certified Safety Professionals, Expert Witness and other valuable Safety Professional’s within the industry. 

Don’t be abused by the system and don’t pay for unnecessary fines. In the event of a Cal/OSHA citation or fines, our ongoing support customers receive the following types of services within a clients Monthly Safety Program:

Comprehensive Incident/Accident Investigation and Reports as Required
Assistance in Contacting Cal/OSHA after an Incident  and/or Accident
Comprehensive Citation Review
Writing and Filing of Cal/OSHA Appeals

* In some cases, CSI uses both accredited and non-accredited attorney’s for all of our OSHA cases.  Some of our staffed and contracted attorney’s are licensed to practice law and others are not.  All other Safety Professionals hold a current status with each of their respective credentials.

24/7 – 365 Program

In our 24/7 – 365 Program, CSI has made available to all clients either with or without the Monthly Safety Program or any Contractor that is not a client, in having access to reach a Safety Professional in any type of situation when needed.  At least 1 of our staffed and/or contracted Safety Professionals are available and on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Whether you have a safety questions to ask about a specific situation or task on a jobsite or if you may be faced with a serious accident, CSI is here to help you get through any situation you might need help with.
